香港兒童肥胖的比例相當高,每5個兒童就有1個屬於偏肥!兒童太過肥胖,長遠會引發心臟病、糖尿病等,嚴重影響健康。運動可以幫助減肥,而且可以鍛鍊出強健的身體,增強抵抗力,減少病痛。你也一起來做運動吧!

In Hong Kong, one in every five children is overweight. Obesity will lead to illnesses, like heart disease and diabetes, posing a danger to health. Doing sport can help people loose weight. It can also help improve the strength of one's body and increase resistance to diseases. Let's work out together!

要怎樣才能保持身體健康?如果有時間做運動的話,籃球、足球、羽毛球等都是不錯的選擇。又或者,每天抽少許時間,步行15分鐘。同時,少吃零食,如薯片、朱古力及糖果等。

What can we do to keep fit? Playing basketball, football and badminton has lots of fun if you can afford the time. Otherwise, walking for 15 minutes every day is also a good way. Moreover, try not to eat junk food like potato chips, chocolates and candies, etc.

Do your kids have a balanced diet? What can parents do if their kids are afraid of eating vegetables and fruits? Here is an interesting game. Parents and kids take turns to cover one's eyes, guess the food in front by smelling, feeling and tasting it. This can stimulate and contribute to the development of the children's senses. Also, it kindles their interests in and enhances their understanding of different kinds of food. This can gradually help children to break the picky eating habit.
