Donation via World Vision
Students, staff and parents of YCIS Silicon Valley have been collecting financial donations for victims of Sichuan earthquake to be distributed by World Vision.

US$1,000 Donors
The first ten families who donate US$1,000 to the Sichuan earthquake relief fund will each be offered a full emergency package. The package includes specially prepared food stored to last up to two years and enough to feed a family of four for two weeks, emergency lights, generator and water supplies among other things.

Emergency Preparedness

Parents Enoch Choi and Staf Lau, one of whom is a doctor with experience in disaster relief, started a challenge for all our families to prepare themselves in the event of an earthquake. Those who participate will be entered into a draw for some fine wines.
