Based on Yew Chung's philosophy of "educating the whole person", the school is committed to the mental as well as the physical development of our students. During PE lessons and through co-curricula activities, different sports activities including basketball, table tennis, football, badminton, swimming, net ball, track and field, ice-skating, tennis and bowling are offered to our students. To further encourage our students to participate in recreational activities, the school will continue to open the sports facilities during non-school hours.

Other than the time taken up by school lessons and co-curricula activities arranged by the school, the swimming pool will be available for students, alumni and staff after school for free. On Saturday afternoon, in additional to students, alumni and staff, parents are welcome to use the swimming pool for $30 per visit. The gymnasium and the covered playground will be available for booking on Saturday as well. Parents are responsible to supervise their children who are age 12 or below at all times when using the sports facilities.

All sports facilities are for recreational purpose only. No private training session or coach is allowed in the sports facilities.
