It's unusual - yet wonderfully familiar at the same time - to meet Richard Tan, our YCIS Qingdao alumnus. He's new to Hong Kong (studying at PolyU) but he seemed right at home. After all, this is where Yew Chung and its philosophies originated!

2012年香港耀中畢業生羅詠勵(Vanessa)分享她從三年級展開的故事。她修讀IB文憑課程時，首次出現以化妝作為職業的念頭。其後，她在紐約成為一名專業導師，並一邊修讀化妝課程。Vanessa一直以來的夢想，是成為一名國際化妝師。她2011年在學校音樂劇《國王與我》擔任首席化妝師後深受激勵，決心向夢想進發。

"What can I do that machines can't do?" Like Mrs. Cecille Son-Nazareno, all YCIS teachers would like their students to ask that question; At Yew Chung, we've tried to answer it by building our Learning Communities culture, providing open, creative, collaborative spaces where students realize their higher-level skills, from within, for the 22nd century.
