Like Mrs. Cecille Son-Nazareno, all YCIS teachers would like their students to ask that question; At Yew Chung, we've tried to answer it by building our Learning Communities culture, providing open, creative, collaborative spaces where students realize their higher-level skills, from within, for the 22nd century.

Happy Founder's Day!

On 12thOctober 2018, the whole network of Yew Chung and Yew Wah come together in celebrating the Founder’s Day and commemorate the effort and dedication which our Founder, Hau Cheung Po Po (校長婆婆), had put into education.

Seoul Alumni Gathering 2018 - Recap

Our first ever Seoul Alumni Gathering has been a blast with over 40 participants from YCIS Beijing, Shanghai and YWIES Yantai attended this special evening at On the Border in Itaewon. We are honoured to have three special guests from YWIES Yantai, Co-principal Mr. Aaron King, School Business Manager Ms. Melody Long and the Head of Parent Teacher Liaison Ms. Grace Kim to be with us that day.

It's unusual - yet wonderfully familiar at the same time - to meet Richard Tan, our YCIS Qingdao alumnus. He's new to Hong Kong (studying at PolyU) but he seemed right at home. After all, this is where Yew Chung and its philosophies originated!
