You are cordially invited to a very special Alumni & Friends dinner with Dr. Gary Morrison, in celebration of his Honorary Fellowship award from the Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE). This evening event will be held on 27 September 2019 (Friday) at 7pm in Central, Hong Kong.
As many of you know, Dr. Morrison joined Yew Chung in 1997 as the Head of Admissions, Promotion and Marketing, and later served as the University Guidance Counsellor for the first three batches of Year 13 graduates, with great success in putting YCIS schools on the global map with a remarkable record of university placements. In 2004, Dr. Morrison took up the important role as the Founding Chairman of the College Governing Council and Supervisor of Yew Chung Community College (YCCC), and later played an instrumental role since 2013 in the development of the new degree-awarding College, YCCECE. In honour of Dr. Morrison’s unique and outstanding contributions, YCCECE will confer upon him their very first Honorary Fellowship award at the inaugural graduation ceremony of the College on 28 September 2019.

At this year's gathering, Rev. Steve Hackman, our head of Christian and Community Development, will share with you a meaningful Seeds of Hope event in celebration of Yew Chung's 85th Anniversary:
This summer, Steve will be walking a 2000 km pilgrimage from Canterbury Cathedral in England to the Vatican in Rome to raise funds for Kids International Ministries to build a new secondary school in an impoverished area outside Manila in the Philippines.
We invite all YCers / YWers in the UK to be part of the ceremonial launch on June 1, and you are also welcome to join the walk for the first 2 short distance days to the English Channel. Steve will share more details on Feb 3.
